When you walk through the doors of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church, we want you to feel at home. Regardless of who you are or where you are from, there is a place for you in our community of faith.

What to Expect on Sunday Mornings

We are Baptist by tradition, Christian by conviction, and ecumenical in spirit.

On Sunday Mornings, Snyder Memorial Church offers two styles of services, both a contemporary and traditional service.

Our 8:40 am contemporary service is a little more casual. During our Worship Service we sing praise songs with a full band and incorporate the use of modern multi-media technology. This service is for people who prefer a more informal worship environment and casual dress.

Our 11:00 am service is favored more by those who enjoy the rich traditions of the Baptist Church. Our worship includes hymns and congregational songs. The service structure is more formal and so is the dress attire.

Sanctuary Entrance

You will find there are many entryways into the main sanctuary of the church building. You will see many entering through the main doors under the steeple, but there are many entrances you can use. At each entrance we have Greeters ready to meet you and help point you in the right direction.

Infant & Child Care

Child care is available for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and Kindergarteners during both Sunday Worship Services.

As a new guest of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church, you may wonder where your children attend service on Sunday mornings? We try to make it easy for you by having directional parking signs in the parking lot that direct you to the Child Care Center.

Once inside our Child Care Center hallway, you will be greeted by a friendly team of people ready to help. Our Host Team will guide you through the Child Registration process and then personally escort you to your child’s classroom. Our Host Team will also be happy to answer any questions you have about our Children’s Ministry. We even have maps of the building available so you can easily navigate the hallways to find your child’s classroom at the end of the service.

Special Needs

Every child is important to us and meeting individual needs is at the top of the list! Our Children’s Ministry offers accommodating options for children with special needs. Guest Parking

On Sunday mornings, special parking spaces are designated for our guests in every parking lot. Be sure to look for the Guest Parking signs. These spots are reserved just for you. If you have small children who may need extra care during Worship, it may be better to park by the Westmont Drive entrance, as the nursery is located on this side of the building.

Discovery Class

Every third Sunday of the month, Snyder Memorial Baptist Church hosts a class just for guests called the Discovery Class. This class is great for guests. We’ll serve coffee and fresh baked goods as you learn the history of our church, our leadership, mission, and vision of the church.

This class meets at 9:45 am during the Bible Study hour on the Mezzanine located upstairs in the Gathering Hall. For more information, please call the church office at (910) 484-3191.

Live-Stream Every Sunday Morning

We stream both of our services live. You may watch the live- stream or a replay of the service.  CLICK HERE  to watch our latest service, or search the archive of previous services by following this link. We provide this service because we know that some families have obligations out of town and want to stay connected to their church family.  Also, because we live in a military town we want to encourage deployed spouses to stay connected spiritually with their family by worshiping together via technology.
