Younger preschool children receive tender loving care in our preschool area on Wednesday night. They hear brief Bible verses and stories, play, do art activities, and snack. Older preschoolers participate in music activities, which include rhythm, learning songs, playing instruments and other fun music related fun. At Mission Friends they learn the concept of doing things for others, how missionaries tell others about Jesus and are introduced to culture from other lands.
The Nursery opens at 5:00 p.m. for preschoolers age 0-2. Parents are asked to sign children in and will receive pagers just as they do during worship and/or Sunday school. Please use the pager as your “claim check” when you come for your child. Children will not be released to anyone who does not have the assigned pager.
Older preschoolers should remain with their parents until choir time at 6 p.m. Older preschoolers may go to Movie Time from 5:30 to 5:55 in Room B1033 across from the end of the library. Please escort your child from there to his music activity room. Children should not go to choir until 6:00 p.m. so that workers have an opportunity to eat and get the rooms prepared for children. Children must be 3 by October 15, 2008 to participate in choir.
Mission Friends for 3 through 5 begin at 6:50. Workers will take your child from choir to Mission Friends. Please pick up your child in their Mission Friends room.
If you plan to stay for choir rehearsals, please pick your child up from his Mission Friends room and take him to the reception desk to be reassigned to the room where the choir children will be kept. |
