CHRISTIANITY 101 |
Jesus commissioned the Church to make disciples. One of the greatest tragedies in Christian churches today is that individuals who make professions of faith in Christ are never discipled in their new faith. We celebrate their salvation and ignore their spiritual development. As “babies in Christ” they don’t know how to live the Christian life victoriously. Consequently, many fall by the wayside, become discouraged and end up leaving the church. The reality is there are many folks who have been in the church for years and still lack a clear understanding of the fundamentals of the Christian faith. And it isn’t their fault. This class is for anyone who wants to understand the most basic fundamentals of our faith: who they are in Christ, how they are to relate to the local church, the true meaning of salvation, the authority of the Bible and how God wants to use them.
