A one day, high energy event for youth choirs who are transitioning to the next level of ministry. Music selections are very accessible for beginning and intermediate level choirs. This experience will provide the interaction and inspiration students need to launch their choir ministry to "higher ground." |
Larry Dickens

Larry leads the music ministry of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC (snydermbc.com) and coordinates the Church Music Concentration at Campbell University Divinity School (Campbell.edu). His philosophy for ministry is to help people experience and express faith. Youth choir ministry has been a priority and passion of his for over 30 years.
His educational background includes a Bachelor of Music Education from Campbell University and Master of Divinity with Church Music at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. His Doctor of Ministry degree from SEBTS focused on Church Music and leadership. |

Pepper Choplin
Composer/Guest Conductor
Much of Pepper’s creative energy goes into planning creative and vibrant worship for Greystone Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC where he is Minister of Music. Many of his anthems are born out of a need at his own church. Pepper’s chief desire is “to create music that will lead people to worship in a dramatic way.”
Pepper Choplin earned his Bachelor of Music degree at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Master of Music degree in composition at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He serves as clinician for choral events across the country and has visited many churches as a guest composer and singer/pianist.
Several of Mr. Choplin’s 200+ published anthems have been selected for the “Select 20” in Creator Magazine. He is also affiliated with the prestigious ASCAP organization. |
