When Cumberland County Schools are closed for the day, Snyder Childcare and Afterschool will be CLOSED THE FIRST DAY. After the first day, we will determine if the weather warrants our continuing to be closed.

When Cumberland County Schools are dismissed early because of weather and/or conditions, the After School staff will pick up all of the After School children and bring them to Snyder. Snyder Childcare and After School will close TWO HOURS AFTER THE LAST SCHOOL CLOSES (e.g. if Middle School closes at 1:30pm, the After School closes at 3:30pm).

The media source use by Childcare and After School is WRAL TV-5. They will not announce if we are open-only if we are closed or dismissing early - so please pay close attention. They can also be accessed at wral.com click on closings.
