Wednesday Nights Beginning

SUPPER is served from 4:50 PM until 6:15 PM buffeteria
style.
Every Wednesday evening, from September through
May, Snyder Memorial Baptist Church hosts Family Night in the Fellowship
Hall. Each week we offer regular dinner with entrée, hot
bar, salad bar, baked potato, soup, sandwich and pizza. Adults:
$4.00 per person; Children Under 12: $3.00 per person; Maximum Family
Charge: $17.00. For reservations, complete a registration form.
Forms are available online and in the main Sanctuary pew racks.
You may also call the church office (by Tuesday noon, please) to
reserve your family's place during our weekly Wednesday Evening
Fellowship event.
NURSERY AGES 0-2. The nursery
is open from 5 PM until after Adult choir rehearsals, both
New Way
and Sanctuary choirs, are over. Two year olds have
MISSION FRIENDS from 6:50 until
7:30 PM. Please bring diapers and bottles for your child and label
them with your child’s name.
OLDER PRESCHOOLERS may be left
in the nursery during choir rehearsals, but it is the parent’s
responsibility to take them from Mission Friends to the Nursery
Suite.
MOVIE TIME FOR OLDER PRESCHOOLERS AND GRADES 1-3. From 5:30 until 6 PM each Wednesday we show
videos to children Grade 3 and under in Room B1033 across from the
end of the library. Your child will enjoy doing this after eating
and while waiting for choir to begin. Children should not go to
choir until 6 PM since workers have to eat and get to the rooms
to prepare for the children.
CHILDREN IN GRADES 4-6 may go
to the gym for supervised play after supper until choir begins at
6 PM. They should not be allowed to roam the halls.
3-5 YEAR OLDS preschoolers have
Music Activities from 6 to 6:45 PM and then they are taken by their
workers to Mission Friends which dismisses at 7:30 PM. Children
must be three by OCTOBER 15, 2005 to participate in this program.
GRADES 1-6 have age-graded choirs
from 6-6:45 PM. At 6:50 PM they participate in mission education
programs: Girls in Action (GA) for girls and Royal Ambassadors (RA)
for boys.
YOUTH IN GRADES 7-12 begin Wednesday
nights at 5:30 p.m. with STEPS OF FAITH, an interpretive dance group.
The gym opens at 5:50 p.m. for all youth and at 6:30 p.m. begins
Youth Discipleship/Missions. The focus of this program is to help
youth apply God's Word to their everyday life-style and decision-making.
Elective class are offered to meet the different needs of teenagers.
Topics include discipleship, doctrinal studies, issues and ethics,
life-style choice, personal relationships, and witness training.
Youth Discipleship alternates with Youth Missions about every 5-6
weeks. In Youth Missions, teenagers learn about what missions involves
and about those who are on the mission field.
ADULT PRAYER TIME. Each Wednesday
evening adults share a brief intercessory prayer time and a short
devotional time around the tables in the Fellowship Hall. After
prayer time adults have a choice of seminars.
ADULT SPIRITUAL GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES begin
@ 6:30! We offer classes in the fall (August through November)
and then again in the winter and spring (February through May).
In January, all adults participate in a joint Winter Bible Study
together. For specific Adult Spiritual Growth Opportunities, pick
up a brochure in the Welcome Center.
